As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel. the owners, Gabi and Luis, made me feel like part of their family. the breakfast they cook in the morning is delicious and they organize trips and activities for guests to do together. the bikes available for rent were great for exploring nearby cenotes. the staff also gave fantastic recommendations for food, trips, and budget options. the hostel itself is beautiful, clean, and has reliable wifi.
Felt looked after, nothing to complain about.

the family that owns the hostel made me feel right at home. They introduced me to other guests, recommended a fantastic and affordable restaurant, and even prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us before our trip to Chichen Itzá. The energy at this place is amazing, and everyone was friendly and cute. The beds were comfortable and the hostel was clean and beautiful. I can confidently say that this is the best place I have ever stayed!

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and varied every day, made with love. The location was perfect, right in the center but easy to find parking nearby. I also loved the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff, who were incredibly helpful with recommendations and made me feel right at home.
One minor issue was that the shower water didn't get very warm, which is something I've noticed in other hostels in this area. Other than that, I had no complaints.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
That the WiFi signal was somewhat weak in certain areas of the hostel.

The value for money was unbeatable - comfortable beds, AC in the dormitory, and a great location just a short walk from the main square. But what really made my stay special was the friendly and cute staff. Luis and Gaby treated me like family, and I instantly felt at home. They even took the time to show me their garden with tortoises, chickens, and fruit trees. Luis is amazing at bringing guests together, so if you're traveling solo, you'll never be alone. Gracias for an lovely experience!
Breakfast delights at Casa Xtakay, but it would be even better with a wider variety of options.

The location was excellent for exploring the city. In addition, they provided useful information about tours and had bikes and scooters for rent.
The mattress on the bed was a little too soft for our preference.
